Joanna followed traditional courses in India and obtained her certifications in the United States. As an eternal globe trotter, Joanna continuously improves her skills on the road – she lives Yoga as a way of life and infuses her classes with traditional teachings as well as healthy dose of humor and joy. Her approach is very dynamic and playful. Joanna teaches a dynamic Yoga class which emphasizes on the alignment of postures and breathing. Being a certified Jivamukti professor and a student of Asthanga by Sarath Jois, her classes are inspired by these two methods. You will be lifted up by the energy and love created by the Vinyassa Flow method. A basic knowledge is however recommended.
Helen‘s yoga journey began in 2006, shortly after she moved from Zurich to New York, where she practiced Jivamukti Yoga. When she later moved to Los Angeles, Paris and Luxembourg she took along her love for the practice and also explored other schools of yoga. She is grateful to her teachers Yogeswari and Lady Ruth who encouraged her to take the Jivamukti 300 hours teacher training in India.
Helen likes to encourage her students to explore their full possibilities with care and diligence.
